Tarpy Tailors not only provides alterations, but is a Pilot Uniform Store directly across from the LAX Airport. The store is fully stocked with uniform items including pants, shirts, epaulets, blazers, sweaters, luggage, leather jackets and so on.
We also offer Made to Measure Uniforms manufatured specifially to your measurements.
We have 2 tailors on site to handle any alterations, inculding hems and braiding of jackets.

Monady - Thursday 9:00AM to 4:00PM
Friday 9:00AM to 2:00 PM
Saturday 10:00AM to 3:00 PM
Historically Tarpy Tailors has been known for our top-quality custom uniforms. While we still manufacture our own custom made-to-measure uniforms, we are always looking for ways that we can deliver a top-quality uniform at a price that fits every budget. We are very excited to announce that we are now working with a leading domestic uniform manufacturer, who can produce uniforms to order at a lower price than our custom products, but still maintains the high-quality for which Tarpy Tailors has been known for over 75 years.
While these uniforms are produced to standard sizes, and do require a minimum quantity of 12 units, we are able to customize many aspects, such as fabric, buttons and trim.
These uniforms include a complete line of men's and women's styles, which are ideal for pilots, flight attendants, customer service and ramp employees. In addition, we are able to produce many styles that are suitable for Hospitality, Restaurant and Casino employees as well.
